Yeah, the drummer definitely knows his stuff. All of the live footage I've seen of the band is top notch. They seem like a solid act. Definitely on my list of bands I still have yet to see live.

It needs stronger drums, strings and oomph to get anywhere near SOF&D. I do hear elements of I Feel You but to me it sounds most like Corrupt from SOTU and therefore is lacking that magic touch of a more robust production (that earlier DM classic albums had )

What I was trying to get at was that I didn't see the self-titled album nor Saturday Night Wrist as powerful albums, especially the latter. I was worried that the band was going down the tubes and would have eventually disbanded. Diamond Eyes proved me wrong, and so has Koi No Yokan.

I really like the live versions the band has done in recent tours. I love how the band can breathe new life into any of their older material.

Very powerful words, Marisa. Lilian does it for me because of a past relationship. I think everyone has a Lilian that they can relate to.

Precious is my second favorite because if something like that were to me, I could only wish I could write something 1/4 as compelling as the lyrics Martin composed for that song.

For me it´s PRECIOUS the perfect song. Two days ago a test for the trade mark of cars from the new spot of Dave Gahan asked the question " If you must listen to a song forever, which one would it be?". I know it´s difficult to choose 1 song, from DM and so many other nice bands in the WOrld. But definitly, it´d be "Precious": I love the voice of Dave in this song, the fact that the song was written by Martin when he got divorced of his wife, and thought about his songs as "Precious" beeings to take care. I´m a Devotee and a Mum too. So I can imagine how hard must be for the childrens to endure a divorce.
